Day 4 of galgal's leave

okok today is the only day which galgal have to actually wakeup earlier because she have a lunch appointment with Wendy. Then me got a call from customer so have to go out early also. Then we meet up and went to Maybank to open a joint account haha.. finally open. Say fo very long want to do liao.. The over process was smooth and funny because we opened the account with all coins hahaa.. all together about 400+ pieces in all forms of coins :P Ok la.. i thought i should pity the gal who serviced us but she got a coin counting machine and charges us $2 for every 200 pieces, so all fair and square liao :P
Then come 3:30pm we goto 'Body Contours' for this couple massage promo that i received from diners. $78 for one session, ok la, it's cheaper than what others are charging. So upon reaching and filled up some forms, we were led to a room with 2 beds that's powered and feels warm, good lo, especially for our almost naked bodies in the aircon, yes galgal have to wear just a paper underwear and me a apir of shorts :P Started off with a scrub, which leaves us all sticky and then steambath in those mini 'looks like' portable shower-with steam bath box type of thing. The steamin was a torture lo, because the steam come out from a vent under my seat and it's burning my ka-chng! lucky galgal switched places with me if not she sure cannot tahan. Then after that she stays behind to shower whereas i must go outside to another shower room because that box is too tiny for 2 to shower... lame. Then after that come the massage, which is the only thing we feel is good lo. The massage is indescribable good lo, maybe because it's our 1st massage haha. Every part of our body rubbed and pressed and relaxed afterwards.. then come the bad part... the oil stays on our body lo. Quite uncomfortable until we bathed @ home. Anyway after the massage, as usual, they tried to sell us some packages and of coz we not tut, never buy anything.
The couple part of the massage promo is actually quite non-existant, because we never get to spend time with each other except in the steam bath which was uncomfortable and fortunately short.. and the 2 of us massage in the same room was actually, we feel, nothing to shout about lo. The whole thing was definitely different from what we imagined, the 2 of us enjoying jacuzzi and forlicking with each other in flower filled tub.. haha. just like the photo featured on the voucher.
Ohh forgot about this in yesterday's entry, galgal bought a creative 'prodikeys' when we passed by the creative store in PS. It's a computer keyboard with piano keyboard attached at the bottom. Galgal kinda for hooked it when she played with the demo set with some of Jay Chou's songs. and since it's not pricey so she bought it lo. Then just now when she come my house to play it, she realise it's not that easy to learn to play a piano.. haha.. ok galgal, time to learn to read the music scrolls 1st!

Superman On Day 3

yesterday(day 3), we meet up with tzuen, Ken meng and had lunch at 'pepper lunch' @ dhoby ghaut mrt station, kena conned by the pricing on the brochures and price board, because the prices does not include GST yet!! Shock right? A fast food outlet charges gst on top of the printed prices.. wah liew if macdonalds and kfcs have the same practice, we would all go crazy liao lo...
Anyway, it's required by THE LAW to display prices with GST-inclusive, this can be confirmed at https://www.iras.gov.sg/ESVPortal/gst/pfv_gst_c.7.3_price+display+for+goods+and+services.asp
I told Tzuen about it and told him to write this on their feedback form.. like they would read. Nvm I shall remind them again if no changes are done when i drop in for a visit the next time.. haha
Ok, Superman:returns, all the hype but fairly disappointed.. because the storyline totally dismisses the 2nd and 3rd movie.. how can.. feel kinda cheap skate and lazy attempt by the story writers to just try to make another superman movie.. maybe it's easier to make SuperKid after this? anyway, i'm not impressed by the 'return'.

Fruitful Prawn Fishing Trip

Went prawn fishing yesterday with Hubby, Tzuen and his mum. Reached around 3+-4pm and within 30 seconds, I had got my 1st prawn! But after that, it was damn slow for me...

I seem to be keep getting bites, but when I pull up the rod, the bait is either gone or the prawn has probably let go. Most of the prawns I caught were small compared to before. The 3hrs seems to dragged for me cos I really caought very few prawns, kindda disappointed. When we ended at 7+pm, me and Hubby had caught abt 25-26 prawns while Tzuen and his mum probably got abt 30 I guess. They were very nice to give up their prawns to us and we had a great feast of steamed garlic prawns for dinner! Hehe...

Here's the pic of our day and today, we're gonna watch Superman with Hubby, Tzuen, Keng Meng and Ken Lun. Shall ask Hubby to update tonight!

The day of our 4th Anniversary

Started off the day by picking galgal up from her home, then took a bus to wisma for lunch. But got off at wrong bus stop, so galgal dropped by paragon and bought a birthday present for wendy from metro. then we walked to wisma for lunch at the food court, atmosphere not bad la, not crowded as usual and we sat near the window where we can overlook orchard road. Foodcourt prices with that type of view, definitely worth it :P After lunch we walked around basement to look for our new couple ring, finally settle for this stainless steel ones at 'bits & pieces'. We thought it was special because we have silver ones and the shine didn't last long so stainless steel, as the name implies, should be better right? anyway it's not expensive for a pair and they can engrave chinese character.. special wor.. so we had our rings done with single character of our names, 'Jie' on galgal's, 'Yun' on mine.

after we collected the rings, went to PS for a movie 'just my luck', romentic/comedy la, so well-suited for the occasion and we enjoyed it. Then went to tak some photo stickers..hahaa.. shich galgal long time haven't took liao.. :P

Overall an quite but enjoyable and memorable day, basking in each other's company, hope many more in years to come!

4th Anniversary!

me and galgal 4 years liao! can u believe it? exactly this day 4 years ago, me and galgal professed our love and be together. And it was during the worldcup also..hehee. Galgal gimme a surprise today by giving me a powerpoint animation containing our more memorable pass and present photos.. so sweet hor. I knew she was up to something when she kept asking me to go sleep early last night and waking up early using the pc this morning..
If u wanna look at the animation, just ask me :P
Tmr we're planning to get a new couple ring with engraving done, something unique that we can celebrate this day for.. So look forward to tmr for the rings photo lo..

1 more day to 4th Anniversary!

Time really flies... Its the World Cup time again, abt the same time we got to know each other 4yrs back.

Thinking back, we have been through so much, full of ups and downs. Despite mostly are downs, be it major or minor, I guess we have survive and passed through. We have still chosen to stick by each other through good and bad, we have managed to overcome the obstacles and we are probably start preparing for our big day in a few yrs time.

On a sad note, we probably do not have the means to have a "dream wedding". Nevertheless, its the love between us that matters in the end.

I have been filled with envy whenever I see people ard me getting ROM/married. I hope someday I'll be able to be like them. I wonder when that day will come for me.
I guess age is catching up with me, I'm feeling old already. They are all ard my age and thinking of my own wedding in maybe 3 yrs' time, guess I'll look a wreck already.

I still have many obstacles to go through and I hope I'll be strong and determined enough to endure it all. I'm honestly tired... I have fought so hard for my love for yrs but my mum's objections, harsh words, discouragement, on-off attitude has really tortured me so much that I sometimes wanna give it all up to shut her up. So many times I have been hurt by her words and actions, so many times I have cried silently to sleep. All I ask is for her blessings and understanding... I have been hurt enough once, I don't wanna go through it again, I won't be able to take it anymore.

Just some stuff I wanna tell her though she will never see this:

Dear Mummy,

I was once wrong, I had made a mistake, I had probably created a lot of problems/unhappiness/heartbreak for you because of my carelessness/mistake. But, I have grown up, I'm no younger a teenager who's too head over heels in love to think/plan carefully. I have learnt a painful lesson and I am sure this time round I've made the right choice. I know you want the best for me, I understand that as a parent, you just want to see us to be married to the right man. But... Your idea of a right man (rich, gd job/career etc) might not be my idea of a right man. He's my right man, the only one I still want despite all your objections and prejudice towards us/him. I love you and you're impt to me, just as much as I love him and he is impt to me too. I can't do without either, so pls don't force me to choose cos this time round, I will not give up easily.

I know its not easy, but pls give us time and some understanding. We are both struggling hard for our dreams and plans. We might not have the means now or in the near future, but what matters most is we love each other deeply. Isn't tt supposed to be the most impt thing in a r/s or marriage? We trust each other and we hope to have your blessings someday. Pls do try to see his gd points and what he has done for me. It might be what you want/like, but its all these things that has brought us together and love each other.

I hope 3yrs later, I have your blessings on my big day and that history will not repeat again. I have grown up, pls give me the freedom and respect I deserve. I have been listening to you and following your rules becos I don't want any unhappiness or friction between us. Pls understand I have give in and sacrificed a lot, so pls stop making things difficult for us...

Stressing sat for galgal

ya lo.. now pass 3pm liao and she's still working, on a sat somemore. sometimes really wonder her pay actually consider high anot after factoring these frequent these overtimes. Anyway on the bright side, she's on one week off for the whole week! yippee!
Now have to plan programs to fill up the week, hmm. So far, it's just Prawn fishing with tzuen on tues or wed, then couple spa on thursday.

Upcoming Sunday..

Saturday passed by so quickly..
have to wakeup early to goto crystal jade to celebrate bren's sis's 20th birthday.. as usual lo. but tmr gonna be father's day, dunno the queue's gonna be as long as when it was mother's day anot. the queue stretched till 3 shops away.. and i waited for 1.5hrs.. sheesh.
After lunch nothing much for the rest of the day except to buy some t-shirts for my dad.
Ok lo, hope tmr luck will be on my side and hopefully..

Silent Hill... *shivers*

Met up with Meilin and Hubby today to watch "Silent Hill" today, oops I meant yesterday (17th Jun).

We went for lunch first at "Central", ths cafe next to the food court at Tampines Mall. Food was not bad... We shared a porkchop cheese baked rice, nissin noodles with luncheon meat & egg, tofu with pork floss and toast with peanut butter & condensed milk. Food was not bad and including e drinks, cost us abt $12+ each, considered ok bah considering so much food.

After tt accompany Meilin to go Crabtree & Evelyn to shop for body lotion and stuff as she has some discount vouchers. Saw a nail and cuticle cream from the "La Source" (think so) series and still considering wanna buy or not. Its quite ex (to me), 1 small tube costs $28! But there's another package which includes the hand cream and another cream which I can't recall plus a pair of gloves. All these items come with a pretty box also at $45, sounds quite a gd deal. The nail & cuticle cream is not oily and no strong smell/fragranceI tried on one of my nails and seems to work. My nails are really dry and cracking, probbably due to long hours in aircon room. So, this seems like a gd solution to it. I asked my mum for her opinion and she says the package is a gd deal too and if its effective, to go ahead and get it. =) Shall probably drop by tmr to see again and decide.

Went to get a drink and some fruits before the movie and that was all the shivers started. I was hiding under my jacket most of the time and grabbing Hubby's hands tightly. I admit I'm super duper timid when it comes to horror movies, heights, speed, animals etc n etc, the list could go on... It was really gross and bloody till I felt like puking and kept telling Hubby I wanna go home, dun wanna watch leh. Thinking back abt it now still gives me the creeps... *shivers* Anyway, find tt some parts of the stories kindda werid n confusing and the ending doesn't seem like an ending. Yikes... No more part 2 for me if there is any. Scared stiff le.

Wanted to go Starbucks tog et a drink and chat a while before gog home but packed. Went Macdonald, even more packed cos so many ppl were gathered there watching football. First time see so many ppl in a fast food restaurant facing in the same direction and so focused on the TV, pengz. In the end, wetn to KFC which was just opp., and thks goodness, no TV and no football. Phew.... Got some snacks and drinks and discuss abt the movie till 10+ before we headed home as the staff were starting to switch off the lights. Well, that's all for today!

Happy day!

happy happy so happy! Yesterday galgal gimme a surprise, a philips hi-fi wor, the thin-wallmountable type. She say it suppose to be a birthday present shared by herself, mummy, charlne and meilin but it's out of stock till now. so it became a 'belated' present instead. Then i kinda disappointed when i opened it and wanna set it up after clearing a space for it in my room.. the set looked used lo, there was fingerprints on the sliver buttons, scratches on the bottom and display and the worse, a hole on the speaker netting! wah liew.. it looked like it has been on display for a couple of years liao.. i should have suspect something when i saw the box because it's yellowish and there were several layers of used masking tape used to seal the box.
So I return it to the shop, which galgal's mummy frequent and is near her house, this morning and since they don't keep stocks of it, have to wait for a few more days till they have it changed.. sianz. But i still happy la, that they gimme such a surprise, thanks u galgal muackz hughug.
Then today never do much coz galgal working then have to goto her colleague's home to fix his pc.
Anyway.. happy worldcup 2006!! wahaha 4 years once thingy lai liao, which also means me and galgal 4 years together liao. ya lo, we become together 4years ago also :P Coincidence right? easy to remember mah, every worldcup is our 4 years anni. kekeke.
may me and galgal be in love for as many worldcups as there are. :P

Galgal is back..daddy happy.

Finally galgal today back from her Co. trip liao.. miz her like crazy.. find that weekend is meaningless and lonesome without her around. Just couldn't do anything the whole day and sleep most of the time because too depressed with her absense.
Hear she didn't enjoy the trip very much because the place was 'ulu' and her colleagues suddenly turned boring. See la her weekend could be so much better with me hor? haha
