Overdue blog

Been a long time since I last blogged (Hubby complaining already....). Partly cos I been busy and also cos I've been really tired.

Well, nothing much really happpening, just spending more time together recently cos Hubby hasn't start work yet till next week. Been shopping recently for some stuff, both mine and his and finally bought some today. Hubby tried on at least half a dozen of business pants before finally getting one (think his skin gonna peel liao with all the trying, wahaha). As for me, I saw this nice Guess bag which I couldn't resist buying. =p

Was thinking of it all the time while shopping with Hubby and when finally Hubby was done, rushed to the shop immediately to buy it, hehe. Cost me $69.90!!! =_= The most ex bag I have ever buy and own.

Still have 1 bag which I'm tempted to buy, but will wait till August and buy it as a b-day gift for myself, wahaha. E bag I'm eyeing cost $135.90 now (-_-) but have calculated. After the 10% discount cos its a blue tag item at Metro and b-day mth with my Metro card, I can get 20% discount! So should cost me abt $108 bah. Hopefully the bag still in stock by then... =p

Still wondering why I'm so crazy over this brand now, it just came so suddenly, haha. Used to dream abt owning a LV bag/wallet, but now I'm satisfied enuff to own a GUESS bah/wallet, hehe.

Alrite, shall stop blogging abt my obession for the time being, till then~

7th day of Lunar New Year, Ren Ri

Today's the 7th day of Lunar New Year, also known as 'Ren Ri' in chinese. Think it signifies the birth of man(human)? I'm not too sure myself..haha
So today's KTV day as we've planned, reached Chinatown K-box at 2:30pm and started singing straight away.. surpirsingly the place's not crowded and got a room straight away.. disappointed with the room though. It's literally 'big enough' for 2 person haha. And i really need to complain about the aircon, one whole vent to a room this size is totally uncalled for. What are they thinking?? use the room as a freezer?? galgal and me were shivering inside, even with a jacket on. So they are able to let us sing till 7pm today but with galgal&me shivering, which even the beer that i ordered didn't help for long, we left at 6:30pm.. but we don't feel wasted at all coz the it broke the record for the longest time we've spent at a KTV.
Then we had claypot rice at our fav outram hawker centre, it's sooo crowded and everyone's like eating 'Yu sheng' around us, and there's this stall called 'ah zhen' which we are pretty sure it's a claypot dish stall except today. Everyone's queueing to buy yu sheng and porridge from it. considering $16/plate and the roaring business, they must have made $$$$$ just today.
We were tempted to try but did not coz galgal will be having yu sheng at home later.
After dinner, we decided to walk to esplanade from chinatown(kinda conned galgal that it's quite a short distance, hehe). Along the way, as we passed far east sqr, we saw this stall 'Mr teh tarik' or sound something like that. What attracted us was the variety of kopi-teh drinks, the cheap price and the size of the cups.. it's like $1.2 for a big gulp sized cup of iced teh. So galgal had iced teh tarik and me, kopi dinosaur..haha.. it was a 'powerful' and thick drink man.. ice coffee topped with milo powder.. luckily it's a cooling day, if not sure nose bleed.
When we were reaching explande, on the bridge, there's alot of photographers setting up their tripods and we overheard an aunty asking one of them what are they doing, they were preparing to snap at the fireworks! Upon hearing that, galgal&me sat down and waited 10mins for the fireworks.. galgal's crazy about that, when the fireworks display started, galgal's snapping away happily..hehe. I'm sure she will post some of the photos later.. the fireworks display is part of the 'river ang bao' fair that's along the river. So must likely it'll last till the 15th day of CNY as it has always been.
Bought a 'four-leaf clover' key chain along the way to the MRT station in citilink mall.. saw the prize quite compared to the shop at galgal's ex-office and since my luck is sooo bad now..haiz..
Then we had to kinda rush home coz galgal's mum wants to 'lao yu sheng' and galgal have to be home early.. but with all the human traffic, we reached galgal's home just after 11.
fortunately, galgal mummy is not in a foul mood and had a quick 'lao-ing' and packed some for me to bring home. But my luck's still no good.. waited for the bus from 11:30pm till 1220am.. no sign of any bus..haiz.. no choice.. had to spend money to take cab with midnight charge..
Hope the four-leaf clover can turn my luck around soon... really need a break now.
