CNY day 2
Ahh, no visiting today because all the Ang Bao harvesting's done yesterday. Nothing to do today and since it's been awhile since we've watched a movie, so decided to watch the movie 'I Not Stupid Too' at Plaza Sing. I would say today galgal&me is quite in a 'naughty mood', look at the pics :P
haha.. The movie's quite funny at times and touching during the end, can hear lots of aunties and gals sobbing, so you all should not give it a miss, even if u wait till it's out in the stores. Ok la, today nothing much to highlight.. tmr galgal's cooking, agian something that we haven't done for more than a month. See ya all later!

Our ang bao collection!

My ang bao collection!

Hubby's ang bao collection!

Happy CNY 2006!
Our 3rd CNY together! Hehe, hope we can collect ang baos for a few more yrs first to save up for our weding fund.Went on ang bao collection spree ytd but this yr CNY seems very quiet. Though the ang baos collected still not too bad but were bombard with the same qns over n over again... "When is your turn to give us ang bao?" "When are you getting married?" Haiz, this has been gog on since last wk when we attended Jasmine's wedding.Thks for the concern and yes, we do have plans to get married, but not so soon... If you want to see us get married earlier, pls contribute to our wedding fund generously. Hehe... You can contribute by mthly or anually via GIRO/cash/cheque (make sure your cheque dun bounce though). =pHubby didn't seem very pleased with 1 thing though which was my denim skirt. Honestly, I didn't realise there was slit in front when I bought it cos I was too busy being happy that I could fit into it, lol. The slit was in front and quite high up, such that when I sat down, it'll ride up all e way and expose most of my fat thighs (sob sob). Hmmm, someone seems to be taking more and more "vinegar" recently. =xAlright, we'll be gog to watch "I Not Stupid 2" later in the day and hope it's gonna be good! Till then, happy ang bao collecting and wish alla good "harvest" this yr!

Pre-CNY Eve Post
Haven't had the mood to blog recently so I'm gonna backtrack alittle since the nice weather and the sun shining into my room has brighten me up... for the moment.Sunday, we went to Jasmine's, my cousin, wedding at Mariott. Kinda unbelieveable coz I still have this image of her running around my house as a kid and playing with her after school during her primary school day. Maybe that's the advantage of bring a gal, find a good & loving guy that'll be a good husband and if he's from a well-to-do family, the traditional wedding and every expenses will be taken care of. Jasmine is very fortunate to find such a guy already at her young age. :P The dinner's good, the usual expensive dishes eg. sharksfin, abalone clams etc. except for the more basic food like the Ee Fu Mee which I feel is not up to par with the other more pricey dishes. They gave this small bell to every guest, which is something different from the usual small slice of wedding cake. My aunt went on to grab any extra bells there is laying around, including those from the empty 'backup' tables. Not that she has any practical use for them but she just like that.. free stuff and there's extra, grab. I don't know how many she have gotten but there's six in the living room. Hmm maybe I could give them to galgal&Me's wedding in the future and save a little..hehee.I was already mentally prepared for 'the question' that would befall onto us during the dinner. 'When's ur turn?', 'Next one's U right' flooded galgal&Me all night and our reply would be just smiles.. if we gave them a verbal answer they would probably carry on the conversation which is what we are trying to avoid :P Then a fair amount of relative commented that we have 'fu qi xiang', haha.. my reply is of coz, we see each other almost everyday :PHaiz.. after the dinner when I reach home, I suddenly feel so useless.. galgal&me has been together for almost 4 years and I've been working for 6yrs and yet, I'm still in the state of being almost penniless and accomplished nothing much. Some wrong decisions and bad luck in career development really puts u back to where u begin. I'm working hard and hopefully a break will come.. so I can provide my family and galgal a good life.. that's all I ask in my prayers.

Not a good start at all
Yes, things has been crappy since 2006 started. It's a bang alrite, a bang that wound me and put me into depression.. besides the incident that galgal mentioned, my dream of starting my own Co. is also in jeopardy. A crappy partner-to-be whom breaks his promise just barely after week. Now I can't even operate and a risk of not able to sustain a project currently I'm working on. You guys should be aware of 小人'Xiao Ren' especially this year, seems like there are plentiful of them.
Fortunately this week alone, I've got a couple of small deals done. Not a great help to the fund I needed but it's sure a morale boost to my confidence.
I'm always trying to be optimistic, it's one of the things I could do to help myself now. Not a good 2006, nevermind. It will be a good Lunar New Year!
Nuff said.
Onwards! galgal & me!
Oh, and hopefully galgal could find a dentist who's not having a busy schedule, coz she's having a bad toothache.

Ups & Downs
Many things have happened in the past weeks since the start of the new year. Not exaclty gog smoothly for me... Lots of pain, hurt and heartbreak felt. The probably only good thing was that we realised we still love each other lots and deeply after these yrs together and our love is strong enough to overcome anything. We'll probably face a even longer and tougher path to our future form now onwards. We'll probably have to make even more sacrifices in the future. But I hope by the end of it, all is worthwhile and we still have the blessings and support of our close ones.Wouldn't wanna talk abt what has happened here and I just hope wat past is past. To one of my gal pal, I guess you know who you are, wanna say a sincere thanks to you. Thks for taking the time to listen to me, for giving me encouragement, support and advise at my weakest point. I guess its really when things happen when you know who are your true frens and can stay on for life. You're a fren I'll always keep in mind and heart. *huggies*

Happy New Year!
Goodbye 2005 and WELCOME 2006! WWeeeeE! Finally the bad year(yes, for me) gone and hopefully a good new year ahead. Quit my $^#%$ job and have some plans of my own to earn some serious $. Wish me good luck! Well celebrations for the new year didn't turn out really well.. everybody seems switched off and suddenly become 'tamed'. We had a hard time finding ppl to party and when atlast found someone willing to get together something.. it didn't work out like what we expected. Went to music underground, got a table and a bot. of Chivas at discounted rate coz galgal's fren is a VIP. So the 4 of us went in really early like 8pm to book the table and the placed's empty and so we went out for dinner. Came back an hour later and the place pretty much the same, empty. Galgal and grace fratically trying to find more ppl to join us coz, we know if it's just the 4 of us, we definitely gonna get bored. 2 other ex-colleagues of hers joined finally but still.. somehow everyone's not in a party mood, just sitting there drinking abit and SMSing..sheesh. thought the place is pretty filled up with 'boy & gals' and it didn't help witht he 'sianness' Ok, the only really fun part is the countdown part when everybody got hyped and after that, grace left.. everybody else starts leaving and we finally left at 1:30am. Usually I pretty ok with having fun with just galgal alone, but the bengish eurodance and hiphop they were playin all night just ain't gonna get me going. So we walked down Orchard and see groups of banglahs with cans of fake snow spray and 'attacking' bypassers.. Luckily we were spared, maybe because I looked hostile when they tried to 'make their move' :P. Anyway ends the day having prata ner my home and went home sleep.. Conclusion, nothing to shout about. but definitely a precious 'hugging galgal in bed' night, something to remember and something I missed so much. wish you all a good year ahead!
