Overdue update
Quite an overdue blog that was supposed to be posted last wk. Basically was too tired and busy o blog recently cos I have been clocking 14hrs of work almost everyday. Darn...Had very food for lunch & dinner on 2 different days. What can I say? Yummy yummy~ Lunch at Fin was great as any other time. The fresh oysters simply works wonder. The fish meat was thick and delicious too. Me and Hubby almost licked clean our plates, haha. kidding!Had dessert at Killiney Kopitiam after that. Ice-cream with waffle topped with fat-free chocolate syrup (that's what they claim lah). Cool for a hot day. Waffle was thick and spongy, nice texture! Served with my fav vanilla flavour ice-cream. Wah, blogging abt it makes me hungry already.Dinner on the second day was at a restuarant we never tried before at Suntec. Restaurant name is Surf & Turf. Not really vheap, but food equally nice as well! Mussels were served in a creamy white wine sauce with garlic. Similar to Fish & Co.'s garlic lemon butter mussels. The steak was done nicely, tender without being too bloody or rubbery taste. Hubby's seafood combo was nice too. Giant prawn, crayfish etc were fresh and portion was big. Quite a gd dining experience. but would only go back again when we can afford it, hehe.Today we had dinner at Cafe Cartel. The portion was so big till we were struggling to finish our main course. We could not finish our starters in the end and asked for the remaining food to be packed home. After that we both had stocmaches. Haiz, probably due to the fiery, hot macoroni.Alright, shall end here for now and will upload the food pics later. Hehe.
